APLF-Leather covers the entire leather supply chain, ranging from raw and semi-processed hides and skins to finished leather, chemicals and dyes, tanning machinery, design, and support services. Materials+ focuses on footwear components, performance fabrics, accessories, fibers, manufacturing equipment, and wearable technologies.

First held in 1984, the Asia Pacific Leather Fair (APLF) Hong Kong Fair was initially aimed at the Asia Pacific region; however, it has since evolved into an indispensable global meeting point for the international leather industry. With decades of experience in organizing leather and fashion trade fairs, APLF attracts approximately 60,000 visitors annually and provides a premier platform for business development and networking among exhibitors, buyers, and industry professionals.

Following consultations conducted in 2020 to better address the Middle East market, the APLF Fair was held for the first time in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in 2022. After the lifting of global restrictions and the return to normal business conditions, the fair resumed in Hong Kong in 2024. In 2025, Türkiye marked its 27th National Participation at the APLF Hong Kong Fair with a strong presence, represented by 24 Turkish companies operating in the processed and semi-processed leather and fur products segment, as well as the machinery and chemicals sector, occupying a total net exhibition area of 622 m²

In 2026, the APLF Hong Kong Fair will host Türkiye’s 28th National Participation, which will be organized by our association. Turkey’s national participation continues to be among the largest at the fair in terms of both total exhibition area and number of participating companies.

Within the scope of Türkiye’s national participation at the 2026 APLF Hong Kong Fair, a total of 14 Turkish companies will take part, including 13 companies in the finished leather sector and 1 company in the chemicals sector.
